- I'm retired and spending more time making quilt tops, almost all for charity. I live on a little lake with my husband Charlie, who has retired from being Rector of an Episcopal church for 30 years, and our dog Zeke. We have two grown children and three grands.

Great trip around the world Sara, and I swear, you are the Queen of Borders! Wish it would rub off on me! And yes, I do have plaid fabrics, just not much of it is in "strings"...give me time!
