Blocks done

Today I finished making all the pieces of the layer cake into blocks.

However I lost one of them!  Where is that 40th block? Hmm.  Must be time to clean up the sewing room.

I really don't need to start another new thing, but these blocks are just about the cheeriest, happiest blocks I've seen in a long time. I can surely see why you are enjoying working on them. I've seen the 36 patches, but I really like this!! Beautiful colors.

Mary Fons..the young one...lost two blocks for her almost finished quilt top for the her mom's show "Fons and Porter". She had to substitute colors AND blocks. Ended up in her assistants scraps where they had been getting ready for a book photo. It can happen to anyone...even on the air! PS These are very cute!
