Jose' has landed!

Peter and Lynne's foster son has arrived in Grand Rapids -- just this afternoon.  Here they are at his arrival.  We were there to say "Hola!"and then they were off to caseworker's office and then home. Jose' is a refugee teen from Honduras.

They will come over to have hamburgers tomorrow for supper with Abuela Sara and Abuelo Charlie.  I want to give him his quilt then, so the push is on to get that binding finished.  I'm having trouble with it but Dianne is on her way to the rescue.

Congratulations and good luck on the finish. Our family kept four foster children over a number of years. I wish I had had time back in those days to make each one a quilt.

So glad he has arrived. The world is a much better place with people like you and your children in it. The special care you take of those in need is inspiring. Hope Jose's quilt warms him emotionally as well as physically.

Sara died of aggressive acute leukemia on December 9, 2019. I miss her so. May she go from strength to strength and glory to glory. May she Rest In Peace.

She loved quilting. It was her prayer life and her great pleasure.
